To everyone who has downloaded my free WordPress tutorial:

WordPress.com have just updated their dashboard to reflect the new WordPress 2.5 interface. This means that the screenshots in the tutorial now don’t match the actual screens. I’m working on a new version of the tutorial ebook and this will be available for all to download again within a few days.

    Sorry for the hassle!

    best wishes

    Hi Sarah,

First, thanks so much for all you’ve done to help the novices like myself. I’m part of a group launching a fan site next month and hoping to implement WordPress as the format for our discussion area. Dying to pick your brain and get some help in determining specifics.

    Hi Sarah
thanks for the free download WP E-Book well written and easy to understand. Do you have any videos on WP especially on how to create a link to an affiliate web page that doesn’t look like an affiliate link

    Thanks brad

    Hi Brad,

The easiest way to create a link to an affiliate webpage that doesn’t look like an affiliate link is to put it as a text link embedded in natural text, or you could hide the link behind a clickable graphic.

I’ll be covering the topic of affiliate linking in my upcoming video series which is in the course of preparation.

    Watch this space!

Julie - I haven’t released the WordPress video tutorial yet as I’m still working on it - when I have finished it I’ll let everyone know.

If you have a wordpress.com blog you can import it into a self-hosted blog. The video includes information on how to do this.

    Thanks for your interest!
