Sarah McHarry Shedding Some Light On WordPress

Do you want to know how to blog? Let me show you how!

My name is Sarah McHarry and I am a programmer, blogger and teacher.

I have created these WordPress tutorials because, while I was building my first WordPress blog, I found it difficult to find my way around. Although I have created many websites, blogging was unfamiliar territory to me and I soon found myself puzzled and confused by the language and terminology. But, hey, I’m a programmer and I’m supposed to be able to understand these things!

What I discovered was that, like many areas of Internet technology, the people writing the documentation tend to assume that you know what they’re talking about anyway… :-o

So this is why I had the idea of shedding a little light on the subject of WordPress blogging. My tutorials teach you how to set up a WordPress blog, all by yourself, even if you are a complete newbie. You don’t have to know any techie stuff. I spell it all out in clear, simple English and you’ll soon find out that it’s not nearly as complicated as it first seems.

Check out my tutorials from the links on the right of this page.

I live and work in UK although I am half-Canadian. When I am not blogging I like to read, write and walk, play bridge, look after my two cats Charlie and Fanny, and play around with my digital camera.

Get one (or both!) of my tutorials today and join me in learning how to blog!
