Shedding Some Light On WordPress

My name is Sarah McHarry and I am a programmer, blogger and teacher.

I have created this WordPress2Go tutorial because, while I was building my first WordPress blog, I found it difficult to find my way around. Although I have created many websites, blogging was unfamiliar territory to me and I soon found myself puzzled and confused by the language and terminology. But, hey, I’m a programmer and I’m supposed to be able to understand these things!

What I discovered was that, like many areas of Internet technology, the people writing the help and support text tend to assume that you know what they’re talking about anyway…

So this is why I had the idea of shedding a little light on the subject of WordPress blogging.

I live and work in UK although I am half-Canadian. When I am not blogging I like to read, write and walk, play bridge, look after my two cats Charlie and Fanny, and play around with my digital camera.
