WordPress 2.8.5 is the latest stable release of this wonderful blogging platform.

With each new release WordPress gets smoother, slicker and more functional!

The three biggest improvements to have happened in recent releases include:

• quick and easy widget setup
• automatic installation of themes
• improvements in media handling

A lot of the niggly little clinks have been smoothed away and the whole things works just much better.
