How To Use WordPress
WordPress is now the easiest and best way for anyone to build a professional-looking website.
Who says? You wouldn’t think that if you read all the comments from the detractors who would like to persuade you that it’s too difficult for ordinary non-techies build their own websites.
Let me tell you that WordPress is NOT difficult if you learn it the right way. Sure, like every new skill, there is a learning curve. If you want to know how to use WordPress, the secret is to start with a clear idea of what you want to achieve and THEN learn to walk before you learn to run.
WordPress is now very powerful and there is just so much stuff available for aspiring webmasters to use that it can appear insurmountably difficult to pick out what you really need to use. And the advice you get on the Internet is not always very helpful because:
- The information is out of date, or
- Someone is trying to sell you something, or
- The author is an inarticulate geek who knows nothing about teaching others how to do something!
In this short blog post I cannot give you the complete low-down on how to use WordPress.
